No. 1About the theatre
The Show Theatre, also called the River Rock Show Theatre, is the resort's main performance hall. The official meetings page gives it 965 seats in an auditorium layout.
The same room can be set up as a trade show floor of about 8,000 sq ft or as a banquet hall seating 450. Besides public performances, it is rented for trade shows, fundraisers and banquets.
No. 2What is on, and where to check
The theatre mainly hosts headline concerts and tribute acts. The resort publishes its schedule on the River Rock events page.
As of October 2026, that page listed the following:
- Richard Marx, October 15, 2026, 8 PM
- Walk Like a Man, November 21, 2026, 7:30 PM
- Trooper, January 29, 2027, 8 PM
Programmes can change. You may wish to confirm the date and start time on the events page shortly before you go.
The desk does not have confirmed details on how tickets are sold, what they cost or when a box office is open. The venue publishes ticketing information, and its events page is the best place to look first.
For a quieter evening, the events page also listed live music in the lounge on Saturdays in October, from 6 to 9 PM.
No. 3Arriving by Canada Line or car
The resort sits beside Bridgeport Station on the Canada Line, and a short covered walkway links the two. The resort's own description gives these travel times:
- About 7 minutes by Canada Line from YVR
- About 18 minutes by Canada Line from the downtown waterfront
- About 10 minutes by car from the airport
- About 20 minutes by car from downtown
Drivers can use the free self-parking in the West lot. Its entrance is off River Road on the west side, and it is about a five-minute walk from the lot to the hotel entrance.
Valet parking is available but paid. The hotel policy page gives these overnight rates:
- Overnight valet: $33.00 per night
- Over-height self-parking in the East Parkade: $25.00 per night (please see the door person first)
The desk did not find a published daytime valet rate for theatre guests, so you may wish to ask on arrival.
The resort holds Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification and has accessible spaces in the self-parking lot. More detail is on Canada Line and parking and From YVR airport.
No. 4Dinner before a show
Several outlets suit an early meal before a performance:
- Gordon Ramsay Steak serves dinner daily from 5 PM and takes reservations. Booking ahead on show nights would be sensible. See the opening announcement for background.
- The Chairman's Room Lounge, on the third floor, is open Sunday to Thursday from 7 AM to 10 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 7 AM to 11 PM. Details are on the lounge page.
- The Chairman's Room Buffet lists differing days on the official site, so please check them before planning around it.
- Zio's, the food court, offers a quicker option.
Sea Harbour serves Cantonese seafood and lists dinner from 5 to 10 PM. Tourism Richmond gives its address as 150-8888 River Road, across from the casino.
No. 5If you also visit the casino floor
The theatre is part of a casino resort. Gambling in British Columbia is for adults aged 19 and over.
Every visitor entering a B.C. casino must show original, physical government-issued photo ID. The Casinos BC ID page lists the accepted documents.
If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, Gambling Support BC is free and available 24/7 at 1-888-795-6111. Further options are on Support services, and the wider resort is covered on River Rock Casino Resort and Staying at River Rock.
